The Parisian Macao
Overview
★★★★★
Excellent (9.2/10)
The Parisian Macao gives you the impression that you are in the heart of Paris thanks to its half-scale Eiffel Tower and beautifully designed park. You don’t know you’re not in the City of Light until you look around and see the soaring, almost Vegas-style array of contemporary hotels and resorts.
The inside has a distinct atmosphere even with the casino, water park, and about 3,000 rooms. A free-flowing fountain adorns the foyer, and marble balconies border the circular space that is finished with a gorgeously painted ceiling that is rimmed in gold and gilded.
Although Versailles is more prominent than Paris, every element reflects the French influence. The restaurants and room décor are much more modern, despite the main areas being extremely King Louis XVIII. Think glass-topped tables, smart TVs, classic furnishings, and new carpets.
Restaurants like Lotus Palace, which serves classic Chinese dishes like rice sheet rolls with barbecued pork, Café Express, which specializes in grab-and-go dumplings and dim sum, and Le Sourire, which combines French and Vietnamese cuisines, are more cosmopolitan with an Asian flair.
